Bandits of Sillico in Ariosto's Garfagnana... at dinner

Three evenings between history and legend wait you in Sillico, a village of the town of Pieve Fosciana, the discovery of a distant world that will surprise you.
Prepare your backpack, jump on the bike and go, ready to leap into the past.
The evocative historical pageant, now in its 13th edition, the Saturday, July 31 and then repeated in the evenings 7 and 14 August. Focus of the festival, staging of stories about Moro: the sixteenth historical bandit that continues to struggle with the then governor of Garfagnana Ludovico Ariosto.
The streets will be lit only by torches, to recreate the atmosphere of a time and you will see the ladies and gentlemen, as well as bandits, all of course dressed in period costumes.
And there’s more: a gastronomic journey will take you inside the country, inviting you to enjoy a rich menu inspired by ancient tradition, from starters to dessert.
Also older taverns reopened for the occasion will serve cold cuts, cheese and local wine.
Lights, colors and sounds of bygone days will accompany you on a magical evening in a country rich in history and folklore.
